Recognition and Service
Recognition and service have always been a cornerstones in National Residence Hall Honorary. Recognition is a method of support that helps students know their contributions are recognized and appreciated. Just a few ways we recognize our residence life student leaders is through "Of the Months", door decorations, special leadership opportunities, and pop up treats.
Service is more than just an NRHH value but a university staple. As Volunteers it is our duty to help and act with courage to support others. Read below about ways you can be involved in our recognition and service initatives!
NRHH OTMs:
OTMs are “Of the Months” which are a way to recognize the amazing
things going on at your campus. This recognition starts on your campus
level and can possibly reach regional and NACURH levels.
How to write an OTM:
Steps:
Writing an OTM is a great way to say thanks to the individuals that make our residence halls into homes. In order to do this effectively all OTM's need to be 300+ words. It is important for the OTM to be as detailed as possible so that the OTM selection committee has plenty of information on the person or program being presented. OTM's may be submitted anytime before the 5th of each month and should only have information in regards to actions that have taken place during the previous month.
For example a diversity program that happened in December should be submitted before the January 5th deadline in order to be eligible for selection.
Fill out the OTM Submission Form on the OTM website!
You will need this information:
-
Month and year you are submitting for
-
